Logan's Roadhouse at 5800 West Saginaw Highway, Lansing, Michigan.

My wife and I along with two other couples gathered at this establishment for a get together and dinner. Now, we understand places having a few glitches with a dinner rush, but this turned into quite a train wreck. Appetizer was ordered and was never brought to the table. Ever. Prime rib? Whatever you do, avoid ordering the prime rib! My wife ordered the 10 oz. which later was found to be no longer available. She substituted this with a sirloin. I ordered the 12 ounce prime rib, medium rate... Apparently this was still available. So, no big issue... Really. Then our dinners arrived. My wife's sirloin was a sad resemblance of something resembling a steak. Small and not pleasing to the eye she unenthusiastically ate hers. My medium rare prime rib arrived unceremoniously; cool, dry and appearing medium well. I contend no way this should have ever left the kitchen. So, I also had to substitute my order as well... For a 12 ounce ribeye flash broiled and expedited to my table. Overall I have had much better quality at a lesser steak house with a buffet... Remember those? So to summarize our experience- very disappointing. Two poorly substituted entrees and an appetizer which was MIA. But, the rolls, butter and soft drinks were good. Still, we will not be return customers.
