Hunter Park at 1400 East Kalamazoo Street, Lansing, Michigan.

Hunter Park needs some signs that make it clear this is not a dog park and dogs are not allowed off leash. I've had several instances of being chased by dogs that people irresponsibly let off leash. I've even called the city Parks and Rec Department about this a couple times. They've told me it's something they are working on. But I don't believe they are doing anything about it. It wouldn't be too hard to put up a few signs to remind people of the leash laws. Once I had an off leash dog attack my dog. The owners couldn't run near as fast as their dog. When they finally caught up to their dog, I had already broken up the dog fight. I told the owners they should have had their dog on a leash, and they got mad at me, saying they had every right to let their dog off the leash. There are playgrounds at Hunter Park. The city needs to do something before a dog attacks a young child.
